  1. Kevin says:

Now at $109.89 at Amazon US.

  2. The Geordie Expat says:

Amazon are refusing to ship this from the UK to the USA.
I’d pre-ordered the set from Amazon.co.uk to ship to the USA as it worked out about $10 cheaper (minus VAT plus US State sales tax) than onthe US site. However I just got the message that they’re restricting sales to the USA!
Wonder if this is going to become a regular thing?

  3. stefano says:

    In Italy 223 Euro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Kevin says:

    Currently $114.98 at Amazon US

  5. Mad Earwig says:

Was hesitating buying this, hoping for a £20 reduction to a more palatable amount for 6 CD’s.
Then it hit me that Blood On The Tracks is one of my favourite Dylan albums ( with Desire and Blonde) and paying a recent £90 restaurant bill put it into focus that this is not so bad value….ordered at £99.90
I’d also recommend ‘trouble no more’ which is a great set and the quality of the box, book packaging etc is all very impressive so glad I took the plunge.

  6. Dogfacedboy says:

As I understand it the dealer price for the set is 75 quid plus VAT. I know Amazon etc will get their cheaper deals from the suppliers etc but there ain’t much further downward movement on the price I feel.

  7. Francis Maher says:

This bootleg series is excellent and is as fine as if not better than the official output . It’s expensive and as far as I can see a long way to go . Thanks Paul , need all the help i can get with my debit card .

  8. Tom M Hans says:

Superb, 113 USD compared to 159 plus 7% FL sales tax. Ta!

  9. michael1984 says:

I’de love to get this Box Set, but at 6 CD’s this thing will cost a small fortune for us Americans. I hope that someday it will come out in a price range I can handle. This year’s cash will go toward the 50th Anniversary Box o the White Album.

  10. Andrew Falll says:

    It’s still £16 per CD…not much of a bargain.

  11. Mister Stick says:

The UK price to US is $112, which saves nearly 60 USD… Though it seems likely that Amazon US will lower their price soon enough. You have to believe at this point that the retail strategy is to scare the buyer with a high cost then entice them with what is perceived as cheaper, but, in reality, is probably still more wampum than they should be spendin’ – color me guilty. But, still not sure I care. As much as we all love Bob, and as important a record as Blood On The Tracks is, 6 discs of redundant entertainment cannot be of truly great value. C’mon, how many times could you want to hear 9 back-to-back takes of “You’re Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go”? Is this thing for Dylan fans or musicologists? And it’s not the first time in this series that they have overdone it. I find I don’t pull The Complete Basement Taps (volume 11) or The Cutting Edge (volume 12) off the shelf as much as I would have guessed for exactly that reason. And especially when the high-water marks for the series, volumes 7 and 8, are right there, both with still-jaw dropping swirls of Dylan’s complete sphere, and the stunning creative process that molded it. You have to wonder, at this point, what if none of the editions since #8 were thematic? What if you took everything from the Witmark demos, the gospel era, the basement days, and the glory days of ’66 and sprinkled cuts from each over multiple releases, NYC Blood On The Tracks recordings included. What if all volumes took the same approach as the initial one, all the way back in 1991? Wouldn’t that make for better listening? Would for me. But, hey, too late now. The 1 CD version of this release will be my choice. For those who grab the whole enchilada, and are about to be The Greater Dylanologist, we salute you.

    • ashleyplath says:

Well, through the wonders of technology, you can make any kind of playlist/mix tape you like. Up to you, really.

    • RJS says:

“how many times could you want to hear 9 back-to-back takes of “You’re Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go”

Rip all six discs, place in the correct running order in one folder and hit the shuffle option. That’s what I did for The Cutting Edge and I play it regularly. There was no way I could have sat through a disc full of multiple of versions of Like A Rolling Stone – I’d have ended up hating the song!

  12. P Chang says:

Paul, some of these songs are listed as “Remake” in parenthesis. What exactly is their definition of a Remake ?

  13. Nick Bonny says:

This is better. I have a feeling that this is as low as it will go ….. so ….. ‘click’

  14. Philip Birtwistle says:

As expected Amazon are matching the other UK sellers. Be interesting to see if it falls any lower, doubt it myself unless it’s only by a few quid.

  15. Dominique VIGNEULLE says:

In France, Fnac, it’s just les tan 100€

  16. Pars Samrai says:

More like it!! Ordered. Thanks Paul.

  17. Pablo says:

EXCELLENT!!!! Preordered now at this price in UK.

    Thank you Paul!!!
