Deal alert / Midnight Oil: The Full Tank

The 14-disc Midnight Oil ‘Full Tank’ mega-set has dropped by over £100 in the UK right now…

The creatively packaged collection (the discs are housed in a miniature replica water tank) includes all 11 classic studio albums, the two EPs, plus a new DVD with all of the band’s music videos and is ‘just’ £146 at the time of writing (2pm GMT, 10/3/2017). For any fans in the UK or Europe this is a great option. It’s £10 cheaper than the Midnight Oil store (which ships from Australia) and allows for much cheaper (possibly free) shipping and most importantly, no concerns about incurring import duties!

Grabbed this one. With any luck the companion set will also come down by a similar rate

  2. Tom S says:

It’s only $150 delivered to the USA

Yeah, with the VAT removed it’s very cheap. I had been getting ready to order it from importcds.com, which had it MUCH cheaper than Amazon. But this price beat even them considerably. Thanks Paul.

Thanks Paul your the best just saved 100 ausie dollars

So at the moment the choice for folks in the UK is order both Tank CD/DVD boxes from the official website where you’ll get approx. £50 discount. The order will come to £248 but you could be hit with duty tax being shipped from down under.

Amazon UK currently has one box for £147 so if the other box is similarly priced, you’ll be spending £294.

Just pre-ordered myself…the beauty of pre-ordering is you basically reserve a spot without being initially charged…only when dispatched…and stays there if/when price goes up…and the companion set will come down too…

Amazon.co.uk is showing the track listings for each disc. Diesel And Dust is only showing 10 tracks with Gunbarrel Highway (track 11) missing. I believe this was originally only absent from the US version of the original album, can anyone confirm if it’s in the Full Tank version? Not that that’s a dealbreaker, just would be good to know.

  7. Larry Davis says:

“Gunbarrel Highway” was absent on the US “Diesel & Dust”, but was released as a B-side here, yet was released as Track 11 on the deluxe D&D…and this is strange because in Australia, it was also Track 11, and now it’s removed?? This thing is Australian, not American. Maybe it was considered a B-side all along?? The song was on the megarare US promo “The Green Disc” and listed as a B-side…if the tracklisting on Amazon UK is not a mistake, then for sure it will be on “Overflow Tank” on the B-sides disc…same with their Grateful Dead cover and prob the 4 12″ versions on “The Green Disc”…”Power & The Passion”, “The Dead Heart”, “Beds Are Burning” & “Blue Sky Mine”…if not?? I still have my “Green Disc” which is going nowhere!!
