Is it known what plant will press these vinyls? I’m asking this because recently had more than a few bad experience with vinyls pressed by GZ in the Czech Republic…

  2. Fan says:

Fingers crossed that they’ll release the live album and rarities separately later!!!! Wish they had released the box without the 3albums… Universal still milking US… I’ve never seen a season so full of releases on vinyl!!! I love it but dear, stop the reprints from easily available albums (first 3 Winehouse’s albums on amazon,Faces on second hand market…) ,we want more unavailable titles from the 90/00’s (GORILLAZ DEMON DAYS, KEANE HOPES AND FEARS…) and less boxed sets!!!! Cut the crap!

  3. probablyrustin says:

The live LP is a bit filler-ish to me. Also a bit unsatisfying to be incomplete about rarities – what about the missing tracks from the deluxe editions, singles and “Valerie” etc? Missed opportunity for a more complete set.

  4. OceanBlue says:

oh, rarities !!! So excited of a rarities lp… then I look at tha tracklist…
So, we have a Live in London 2lp set and a rarities live set.
I expect demos, outtakes, covers, even bsides !
Are the BBC sessions tracks in the BBC live dvd set released on 2012 ?

  5. Rob Wikcock says:

Didn’t Mark Ronson once mention Amy had recorded a James Bond theme song?

    • Rontos says:

From what was written at the time, Ronson said : “We did work on it but we never finished it. I don’t think it will happen unless by some miracle it gets recorded and someone sings on it. I’m not sure Amy is ready to work on music yet.”

The pair began collaborating on the track at Ronson’s studio in Henley, Oxfordshire, but their sessions soon deteriorated.

Winehouse’s spokesman said: “Mark presented a track to Amy, but she had other ideas about the direction it should take. We’re sure they will continue to make great music together.”

So it seems that Ronson had prepared a song that was rejected by Winehouse and she never came up with anything suitable. However, there was conflicting reports by Amy where she claimed the song had been recorded but rejected and added that she wants to “prove that [the producers] made a big mistake” by not choosing her song. “I do think they could have waited a bit. If they want a worldwide hit I have them all up here (pointing to her beehive),” she said.

“I guess they are going for clean-cut and boring. When I do release mine – and I am tempted to do it on the same day – this would be the bigger hit.”

Sadly her song failed to materialise which leads me to believe that maybe it remained in her beehive and never saw the light of a studio. It would be great if there was something though.

  6. Johnny Vinyl says:

Looks like Amazon CANADA has the best price at $99.00 CDN.

  7. Shane says:

Looks terribly overpriced, especially considering more than half of this is still in print even on vinyl. Is there even a point in releasing the unreleased ones on vinyl only?

  8. Ken says:

    Horse..Dead..Flogged!!!!

  9. Julian Fisher says:

I grabbed my copy of this and it should be noted that Back to Black has not been pressed to 180 gram. These all seem to be the reissues that have been available for some time except the rarities LP just bundled together.
