King Crimson: Elements 2014 tour box delivers live and studio rarities

kingcrimson_elements

Although the title perhaps suggests otherwise The Elements of King Crimson is not a live album but rather a ‘2014 tour box’ that contains some unique and previously unreleased content that goes all the way back to 1969.

This set was created exclusively for sale at the band’s concerts and via their official online outlets but is now more widely available. It comprises two CDs containing extracts, elements from studio recordings, alternate takes, live tracks, rehearsals and finished recordings from 1969 – 2014 (much of it previously unreleased on CD). This also comes with a 24 page tour booklet.

This is released on 1 December 2014 and can be purchased via the BurningShed webstore (the official King Crimson outlet) or using the Amazon links below.

I bought this yesterday (in a real record store) for 16 euros. Regular price in Germany (JPC etc.) is currently 20 euros.
