Columbia Records/Legacy Recordings release the Bob Dylan box set that fans have really been waiting for. More Blood, More Tracks: The Bootleg Series Vol. 14 is available as a six-CD set that includes “every surviving take” (including the complete New York sessions) from the 1974 studio recordings made by Bob Dylan which resulted in his 1975 classic Blood On The Tracks. The SDE shop has some stock at a great price.

A strange, but welcome two-CD set that features previously released live recordings from 1962 – 1966 to mark Dylan’s 2018 tour of Australia. It “shines a light on some great performances that were initially overlooked, with most of the recordings now near impossible to find.” The bargain price adds to the overall appeal.

The Band / Music From Big Pink super deluxe box set offers brand new 5.1 mix
It wasn’t crystal clear when announced, but fans considering the forthcoming The Band Music From Big Pink box set might like to know that the 5.1 surround mix included on the blu-ray audio (which is exclusive to the box) is a BRAND NEW MIX and not simply the old 5.1 mix from the DVD-Audio, re-presented.

The Durutti Colum / The Guitar and Other Machines (reissue)
The Durutti Column‘s 1987 Stephen Street produced album is expanded to three CDs or two vinyl records. The CD set (packaged in a clamshell box) includes the album with original CD bonus tracks restored, a second disc of associated recordings – including many non-album tracks and the rare Greetings 3 EP (released only in Italy) – and a live CD of in-concert recordings. The vinyl edition is the album on LP 1 and a selection of live tracks on LP 2. Everything is newly remastered.
