Your HMV UK link is to the 2 X CS version though. :-(
I can’t find this vinyl on their website.

Thank you for the video Paul! You made me green with envy… ; ) Gorgeous album with a superb design. Probably my second favourite sleeve after Octopus album. Waiting patiently for the double cd edition and longing to be so fortunate to get this vinyl. Being a Spaniard I’ll be forced to pay a considerable amount of money to purchase it on eBay or alike if I’m lucky enough! The previously unreleased remixes are quite interesting, I specially love the Alter Ego remix of All I ever wanted. The much sought remix of You’ll be sorry will be finally available (there are three of them but are variations on the same mix). Not really fond of the Love me madly remixes, though!

César glad you liked it… email me your address and I’ll send you my copy :) (paul@superdeluxeedition.com).

hi i really want this vinyl any of you have idea for canada its possible? or just for the uk? thanks for any help.

  6. Hugh Hall says:

Why oh why oh why don’t some of the labels manufacture more RSD copies and sell them cheaper? They would doubtless get more people into the shops as the odds of getting something would be better, they would still make plenty of money and they would help genuine fans to avoid having to shop on Ebay later the same day. Surely everyone would be a winner?

  7. Trash says:

    Nice.
Would love to grab this but I suspect that by the time I get to the stores in London they will all have gone…

  8. Chris says:

Gratuitously stolen from elsewhere on the internet…….

“Save money on Record Store Day by painting one of your David Bowie albums turquoise and standing outside of your house for three hours”

  9. Chris Squires says:

Agreed it looks classy….BUT…. I don’t quite get the point of the side 4 etching, surely it would have made more sense to put some of the key remixes / b-side on that 4th side. I have yet to see an etching that made me think “Wow, I’m glad they didn’t put any music there”.
Given that, the white looks delicious.

    • Michael says:

The etching stuff is a waste, agreed. I don’t see what use this has for almost anyone. Depeche Mode did this with their last album, whereas they could have at least included some of the bonus remixes they put out to fill space that was there, and justify the inflated cost for making a double album.

So excited about this. Ordered one for my store in West Chester, PA, Electric Avenue, if you’re in the area this Saturday and want to try your hand for it. My fondest memories of this album were listening to it just after 9/11 happened in the US. That may sound strange, but the album came out Aug 6, 2001, and as I had been home all day glued to the TV in horror, I needed to get out a bit at night and clear my head. On went my walking shoes and discman(!) and Secrets was the soundtrack. It took me away from all the terrible things happening just two hours from my home, and I couldn’t help but feel I was listening to something special as I still believe it to be their best album outside Dare, and it felt like a secret in my own little world as I knew the label was broke and I was one of the few people who knew enough about it in the states to bother hearing it (I snapped up the All I Ever Wanted import CD single as well). Simpler times had just become extremely complex, and the Human League was there to soundtrack the end of innocence for me. God bless the Human League for that, even though they may never really know how they affected this listener’s life.

    Now THAT looks fantastic.

  13. negative1 says:

    Very nice Paul,

Too bad it’s so hard to find the vinyl in the US.

Will be getting the 2cd version though.
