    Nice video Paul.
I am tempted as I was at the Wembley gig but think I will see if the price drops .

  2. Sam says:

Cheers Paul, looking forward to getting this on Friday. £10 a disc for mostly unreleased material is a fair price to me.
It’s the Setting Sons Box Set which seemed over-priced for what you got.

  3. Andrea says:

Since you have the box in your hands, it would be interesting to know how it sounds!… the quality of the recordings for the different sets, the sound… now that would be useful!

  4. BritinDetroit says:

With patience, Setting Sons SDE and The Gift SDE could be had for around 35 quid each

I will sit quietly in Detroit (or at Wembley on Sunday) and watch amazon.co.uk and the Great Offer Store.

  5. Simon F says:

Great that you have got a copy of this Paul. I was ready to order but strange things are going on though; the Amazon UK price has shot up from £56 to £67 in the last couple of days, whilst the pre-order button at Universal Store is nowhere to be found and it’s not avablible at all at HMV. Is all well within the Jam/Universal camp or and will this see the light of day on Friday or not?

    • Paul Sinclair says:

Anyone who got an early pre-order in with Amazon would obviously get the lowest price, which as you say is £56. Haven’t heard about any ‘issues’ with this… but will keep my ear to the ground.

  6. Glenn says:

Hi Paul. Would be cool to see a tour of your music collection. I think a lot of people would enjoy that.

    • bob says:

Yes I would like that very much, along with a Bowie CD box unwrapping video (hint hint)
As with The Jam fans on here I am going to wait and hope for a big price reduction on the Bowie box. I figure that I have bought so many versions of those albums over the years that I deserve to get it at a good price to justify buying them again.

  7. Jonathan says:

Ordered my copy, via the SDE link, from Amazon.fr, taking advantage of their ‘one day only’ 10 Euro discount offer. Worked out at 59 Euro, with p+p to the UK, that’s around £43.
Thanks Paul, really looking forward to this!

  8. bob says:

Forgot to mention Paul that I do enjoy these unwrapping videos.

  9. richard says:

Paul thanks for the video i can’t wait to run my tubes hot with these cd’s and even for 65 euro i don’t think its expensive it looks great

    Richard

  10. Stan says:

Paul, I was watching this (fantastic) video when my wife, from two rooms away, called out “Is that your dealer’s voice I’m hearing?” She’s onto me! A few minutes later, as she was passing my office, she stopped long enough to arch an eyebrow and say “Oh, honey, I’m shocked… Your pants are still on.”

  11. Paul says:

Thanks Paul. Can`t wait ordered from Amazon Fr.

  12. richard says:

YES YES amazon really learned from the past damaged parcel issues ..
Fire & Skill came in with a very big strong double box parcel .. in pristine condition .. and …. the sound quality of the concerts is soo fantastic .. so clear .. maybe next wishes for a box of “Style Council” live shows

I hope you all have a great JAM weekend (65 euro incl. postage)
    Richard

  14. James says:

This will have to drop substantially before it gets my money. Almost £10 per disc for live stuff? You must be joking!

    • richard says:

James, after 35 years we get a nice box, book with great pictures, some extra’s … and above all .. 6 Complete Concerts .. never released before ..
and the sound is Great & Authentic .. maybe this helps to enjoy the music

      Richard

  15. Dan says:

I took advantage of the amazon.fr offer as well but I’m getting the impression that they have cancelled my order and issued me a refund instead….I don’t know for sure as I can’t read French but the e-mail I received from amazon.fr didn’t look good to me.

  16. Dexter says:

Before i order, can anyone please confirm that the wembley 1982 disc is definitely not the same as the one in the setting sons boxset?

  17. Adey says:

Currently £42 including postage to UK from amazon.de

  18. Bill says:

This is a perfect companion to the Direction Reaction Creation Box Set, The Complete Jam DVD set and the current proper album Deluxe Editions. Bravo to Mr. Weller for allowing this to be released as we Jam / Weller fans can never get enough! Thank you for another video unboxing as well Paul, they are great!!
