  1. Steven Mclaren says:

This is on a lightning deal at Amazon uk at 6.00 pm tonight.

  2. Mark Carroll says:

    GREAT VID, NICE BOXSET…

  3. Jonathan says:

Hi Paul Speaking as a ‘Pledger’ myself, the explanation given from Salvo/Union Square for the box set’s delay was due to a manufacturing problem with the lobby cards, yet you seem to have them all present and correct with your copy. Did you notice anything ‘wrong’ with them?

  4. colm47 says:

Hi Paul, thanks for the excellent video.

I am one of the 750 Pledgers and am a bit miffed to say the least that the box set is available to Amazon etc before the Pledgers get it.
Whatever happened to “first come, first served”?

I see the lobby cards in your video.
Can not understand why there’s a delay with a few cards.
Get a new printers to do them!

I have made my feelings clear on the Pledge Music site.
Just wanted to vent my frustration here!!!

    • Paul Sinclair says:

It’s definitely a cock-up. Obviously that wasn’t supposed to happen, it was supposed to be Pledgers first, then everyone else. I’d be more miffed that this box will probably be £65 (or thereabouts) this afternoon on Amazon UK, so buyers will not only get it before you but considerably cheaper!

    • Alexander says:

Colm47 is fully right. I am one of the Pledgers as well and waiting for my copy like many others. But it seems that “first come, first served” works only at McDonalds, not Pledge. That’s annoying. From the point of doing business that was very clever move, we pledgers just credited the project. What did we get as a gesture of a good will ? Nothing so far.

  5. Charles Hodgson says:

Pledge Music items always seem to turn up elsewhere on line cheaper than they were for ‘pledgers’. Fell for it once. Not again. Be wary.
(Anyway, that method is designed to check out there is sufficient demand for niche products / provide backing to artists without deep pockets. So why are Slade / Salvo using it? And haven’t they milked the Slade archives enough already?!)

  6. Charles Hodgson says:

The cover would make a nice T-Shirt though!

  7. gary C says:

I have no idea what is going on with Pledge Music. Did they receive all the stock already?
