Deal alert / Red Hot Chili Peppers Stadium Arcadium 4LP vinyl set

Fantastic deal right now in the USA for the quadruple vinyl edition of the Red Hot Chili Pepper‘s 2006 album Stadium Arcadium.

This set is an incredible $23 which is about £17! Crazy deal – it’s £71 in the UK, although admittedly cheaper via some marketplace sellers.

Is this sale for the 180g foil box set you’re showing in the pic or for the 140g double gatefold/slip case version? I know great price either way but I told someone grab it quick based on your photo

  2. Luís Rodrigues says:

Arrived today cost me 25 € with shipping included to Portugal!!!! Fantastic! Thanks!!

  3. Martin says:

Picked up – must be on semi permanent rotation on cd or mp3 on the car for the last few years so at this price a def

  4. Dean Taylor says:

Is it any good?… one of my all time faves … on my must grab in a fire list .. I have the award winning art edition box sets
As for sound quality.. it’s all analogue on the vinyl edition and truly blows the cd out of the water.
Forgot to say it won a Grammy for best box set I do believe but I may be wrong on that .

  5. Ken Evans says:

Is this vinyl also going to be clipped all the way in the red with no dynamic range?

  6. Eamonn says:

    Is it any good though?

    • Michael says:

Hi, Eamonn. “Stadium Arcadium” is one of RHCP’s best releases. Much of the material on the album is along the lines of Under the Bridge and Californication. A few songs on this 2006 release have a George Clinton funky-punky format that sounds similar to RHCP’s earlier albums, which I’m not a big fan of. But aside from that, the stand out tracks on “Stadium Arcadium” are Dani California, Snow, Hey and the title track, Stadium Arcadium. Frusciante’s guitar playing occasionally flies into Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton territory on certain songs, which I find very appealing. You can sample the entire album on YouTube for free, and decide for yourself. I own the CD version, but seriously considering getting the 4-disc record version at this amazing U.S. price. I have read Amazon reviewers’ claim that there is no compression or ‘clipping’ in the sound quality of this record. Cheers!

  7. Jack says:

Just got it for £ 27.25, all in , delivered UK. Not a bad deal. Thanks.
Question: in the above price is included £4.54 “Import Fees Deposit”. Is it to do with the UK (or the EU) side of the deal ?

  8. steve p says:

I thought under £20 there was no import fee … this seems like the postal cost is added to the item cost in order to take it over £20 so that fees can be added

Ive never been charged 20% on postage before

    • Mike the Fish says:

      The limit is £15

    • Gary C says:

I think items at £15 or more can get pulled at customs. I’ve have things costing a few hundred slip through before whilst others at around £20 get pulled and have to pay £8 handling plus VAT.

  9. Richard says:

Thanks very much for all these deal alerts! I managed to bag the Pretenders boxset last week at £51. Gone up to £90+ now. Fantastic.

  10. Grumpy git says:

Prefer this deal if it was for one of their good albums.

  11. Paul Wren says:

$23.38 now and may attract importation tax (18%?) and handling fee (£8) to the UK, not to mention postage. Therefore total price could be nearer $40. Great deal for anyone in the USA though.

  12. John Orr says:

I know I shouldn’t, but, I just did. Ordered, thanks again!

  13. Martyn Yeatman says:

£27+ with delivery and import fees but hey ho, had to be done.

  14. Shawn says:

    Got it! Sweet deal. Thanks!
