Deal alert: The Rolling Stones / Some Girls super deluxe box set

Lowest price ever for the super deluxe box set of The Rolling Stones Some Girls album that was issued back in 2011.

This set comes in a lift-off lid box and features two CDs, a DVD and a 100-page hard-backed book as well as an exclusive Beast of Burden 7inch single. It’s less than £35 on Amazon UK right now, but I think stock will be limited.

My comment above refers to Amazon UK.

I ordered a copy of the Fleetwood Mac “Rumours” Super Deluxe when it weirdly dropped to £5 briefly. They didn’t honour it and claimed error to blame.

Wasn’t my mistake though. I spend a lot on there and have lost mucho dinero with price-drops on stuff I’ve bought at a higher price earlier. (The latest sickener being the ‘Ramones 40th” Box Set.) You think they might take that into account occassionally.

(BTW, anybody had any luck claiming back price-drop refunds under the 30-day-since-purchase rule lately? Apparently that policy was ended back in May this year…)

Its still a decent price at Amazon US $65
    which isn’t bad

  4. Geoff says:

My comment from yesterday hasn’t appeared but Amazon were price matching a marketplace seller. Once their stock was sold Amazon put their price up.

Always appreciate the heads up, even if I tend to be too slow at seeing the alerts!

It’s a bit of a con from Amazon really. They had very limited numbers offered at £34, pulled the offer within 5 minutes and then jacked the price up to £109. I almost paid £109 as I was so keen to get the offer (click, click, click on phone without looking too hard..). I bet someone paid £109 yesterday…
Today, 24 hours later, Amazon is £84.

Got to ask what is going on with Amazon and these 5 minute deals
If your lucky eneough to see you have a deal alert on the quick you may just have a chance to get a bargain but it appears after that you have little or no chance
Why if your a regular buyer on Amazon don’t they drop you an e mail with offers say for an hour then you have a chance
I it’s right place right time oh well
