The 4CD Black Sabbath Paranoid box set is £38 on Amazon UK today if anyone is interested.

  2. Bill Darlington says:

I hit the link and says €198.26 plus shipping, not £28.

  3. John McAleese says:

I went for a brief walk and missed the Motown Box-not too chuffed to put it mildly

  4. Richard Fisher says:

Kinks Lola…. Box set now just a shade under £40 at Amazon UK. Cheapest yet!

  5. Rich G says:

Thanks for the Motown Box alert Paul. My first euro Amazon purchase this year for shipping to the UK. Being a rookie in the new regulations world, I’m presuming the price I pay will be the price at checkout as have to charge the UK VAT a the point of sale (as under £135)? Thanks again!

  6. SimonP2 says:

Thanks Paul – missed previous Motown deals so this one is much appreciated.

Whilst on, I noticed there are some quite good deals on Stones From The Archive series. For instance, I got the LA Forum 1975 package (DVD & 2CD) for just under £15 (currently £36 on Amazon UK). I also got Hampton 1981 (DVD & 2CD) for similar price. And of course, if ordered with the Motown box, there’s practically no extra shipping

Thanks Paul. Motown Box Set An Absolute Bargain.

  8. Paul Crook says:

Just a quick shout out as to what differences if any there are between the Rhino and Sanctuary CD box sets of Black Sabbath Volume 4 super deluxe box sets? Big price difference on Amazon!

  9. eamonn mooney says:

    Ordered Motown. Cheers

  10. 2wicky says:

For those who missed Prince 1999 Superdeluxe 5CD+DVD : there are a few copies at 78.– GBP available on from a third party seller. Not a super bargain but cheaper than most of the other offers.
And I have just received the shipping notification of my order of this set from when they had offered the box for 64.– GBP back in January. Happy to finally receive this box set as well and thank you to to have advertised this offer back in January :-)

  11. Craig Deeley says:

The Loving The Alien box is 87 euro on

  12. RobS says:

Mark Knopfler Deluxe Box of 2018s Down the Road Wherever is down to £34.91 on Amazon UK and is cheapest it’s ever been. You get 2LP gatefold plus bonus 4 track 12″ incl 3 exclusive tracks and also the Deluxe CD featuring 2 further tracks not on either vinyl…..go figure….plus some guitar tab and a numberrd print….not bad at this price.

    • Andrew Ritchie says:

Thanks Rob, I went had a look and got the same offer for £29.11… I think the vinyl on its own is not much more than that…

  13. Simonp2 says:

Prince Sign of the Times Vinyl SDE is £189.99 again at both Amazon and HMV in UK at moment. Price matching in action i suspect.

  14. Adrian says:

Ronnie Wood – Mad Lad Box Set – currently £24 on Amazon UK

  15. Craig Deeley says:

Shakin Stevens Fire In The Blood huge box set is 70 euro on at the moment.

    Cheapest I’ve seen it.

    • Sascha H. says:

This box set is realy great. It brings back some good memories from the past to me. Love it. I got mine for 60 Euro still sealed.

  16. Shamy says:

There is a deal currently on amazon for anton corbijn depeche mode – already down by 26% to £74

  17. Jeff Pearce says:

Amazon US is doing a “Get 3 for the price of 2” sale right now, with several box sets among the pricier items. I don’t know when this one expires; all it says is “Limited-time offer.”

  18. Brian says:

New Order: Power Corruption and Lies (Definitive Edition) [Vinyl LP],. at just 88 Euro. Best price so far I think.

  19. Francis says:

These two deals had both gone back up in price by the time I received the email from Super Deluxe, so I missed the chance.

  20. Erik says:

Slightly off topic here, but since U2 Pop anniversary/remastered deluxe/reissue has been mentioned again, I know from a lot of close friends and fans, this is high up the ‘wanted’ list. Sadly, I can’t see it happening, even if commercially viable. There’s the irony, in that the artists (rightfully) still have the last say, they just don’t want it out there again (even with all the gimmicks you can think of; I’d love an Adam Clayton PopTart face mask right now).

    • Ben Williams says:

I heard the opposite; certainly Edge and Bono are quite fond of some of the songs – I think a remix may happen, if not next year, then in 2027 for it’s 30th.

  21. mike connor says:

    GONE !!!!

  22. Steven Campbell says:

You’re all going to be waiting a while as Paramount owns the rights to Rattle n Hum so why it hasn’t had a box set done. As for Pop next year marks the 25th anniversary so I’d say that’s a possibility…

  23. Bernard O'Hara says:

Yes – unable to purchase in Northern Ireland from or Amazon.Fr – despite the fact we are apparently still in the Customs market for goods! Bit frustrating – maybe they will address this in due course (hopefully)

  24. Bob says:

    Gutted I missed it

  25. Theavidcollector says:

Bowie loving the alien cd box set is down to £73.07 on Amazon UK as I write.

    • Paul Sinclair says:

Very good. More or less as low as this has been in the UK, I believe. It’s still a great set…

      • David says:

        It’s now £88.50 Amazon uk

        • Paul Sinclair says:

          Yes, annoyingly brief. Sorry everyone…

          • Nathan Thomas says:

When I looked Music magpie had the Bowie listed on Amazon at just under £71 plus postage so it came up first on the amazon listing, with amazons at £73 . As soon as their last one sold the Amazon price immediately went back up to £88.50 so I guess they were tracking the price.

    • Nathan Thomas says:

Not any more -the Bowie lasted about 40 minutes, now it’s £88.50 , so a saving of £1.50 lol

  26. Steve Benson says:

Is there any further info on a reissue of the Richard & Linda Thompson box? I can find nothing about it on line. Very keen to get a copy which was impossible first time around in NZ – although that may have saved me a hassle with bad discs!

  27. Sascha H. says:

I am still waiting for a box set of ” Rattle & Hum “.

    • Bart says:

I’m still waiting for Pop box set which should’ve been released in 2017. Instead we got this reissue of mediocre album

      • Bernard O'Hara says:

A lot of people would say the same about ‘Pop’ – including the band themselves! I am a fan though

  28. Poptones says:

Very good deal for UK residents or people ordering from Germany, Austria, Netherlands.

It was already €67 this week-end so I guess it’s £49 for UK residents only (meaning without VAT).

Even at €67, it’s still a good price if you’re a prime member and don’t pay shipping. With VAT and shipping costs, the deal is less interesting.

  29. Rich A says:

That didn’t last long it’s currently 67 euros. (About 59 pounds). I presume it was briefly about €56?

  30. Steven Campbell says:

That’s a great deal even factoring in the postage though I bought it at the time and especially now with Brexit and the fact that I live in Northern Ireland means I wouldn’t be able to avail of the offer if I didn’t have it by now.
