Wish they’d do double albums for Mirage and Tango to incorporate all the wonderful outtakes, b-sides and alternates.

  2. Frank says:

Who is responsible for such coloured vinyl projects at rhino / warner? Must be younger. We had “Fleetwood MAC” on white vinyl on REPRISE/UK in 1977 and also “Rumours” on white vinyl in the Netherlands the same year.

Don’t need this, but if these are cut by Chris Bellman, they will be really nice. The box is also being sold on Rhino’s US site.

  4. MARK LEVY says:

I wouldn’t mind if the original greatest hits was released on coloured vinyl, I’d be tempted

  5. Peter says:

I was going to buy just the Tusk album (because I don’t own that on vinyl). Then I thought, hmmm and maybe the green Tango? Then, I thought ‘in for a penny in for a pound’, so ended up buying the box set version with the lot from Rhino!

Let’s hope they package the thing properly for posting.

Next step: Fleetwood Mac 1975-1987 5CD Box Set :D

  7. Phil Fogel says:

I recently bought the absolutely fantastic Steve Hoffman vinyl remaster of Rumours and I own the original Tango In The Night, but I’ve never owned any of the other studio albums, so those might interest me. I love playing my vinyls.

  8. Derek Langsford says:

Having got each SDE of these albums, and having to buy the included, though for me unwanted, vinyl to get the outtakes CDs and DVD mixes, the only thing I am missing is a 5.1 mix of Tango!

I’m definitely BOYCOTTING Rhino after the fiasco I just finished dealing with. I lodged a dispute which was fruitless. They ripped me off for $153CAN shipping on a product they originally billed me $10 for. They did not return multiple emails and unfortunately I have other outstanding purchases from them I am also dealing with and am also getting nowhere. I’ll be filing a PayPal dispute shortly on those other issues. I agree they do not give a rat’s arse. Buyer beware is all I can say.

  10. Tony says:

Hey Frito Bandito, calm down dear, it’s only a few vinyl albums, I’m in for a clear vinyl Rumours.

  11. Arvind Mohindra says:

picked up the individual vinyls from amazon uk. as shipping to asia gets 20% VAT deducted and almost free shipping. GBP 87 for all including shipping. Would have loved to buy the splices but GBP 55 for shipping from Rhino and GBP 95 for albums makes it almost double. perhaps will regret not buying the slipcase… oh well!!

  12. Shane says:

I will pass thank you. Cant stand colored vinyl. It was fine once in a while but there seebs to be bo re(re)lease anymore that doesnt get the treatment.
Next stop: picture discs. I MAY get Tango then.

  13. Antonio Hernandez Garcia says:

What happened with ” time” still the only album not released never on vinyl????

  14. Simon says:

Tusk is already out of print and I missed the deluxe set so I’m in for that one.

  15. Jamie Crampton says:

    Surely Tusk should’ve been on white/ivory vinyl…

  16. RICHARD says:

These look lovely. I’ve gone for the slip case. And remember, you are under no obligation to buy anything ever. If yet another reissue of these albums gets your goat simply take a deep breath and move on with your life.

  17. Alan B says:

Great price for these albums. Just goes to back up a comment I made in an earlier thread about how there is now (compared to years ago) such a wide range in the price of LPs these days. Some equivalent LPs can cost £10 more.

  18. Michael Caspar says:

The big 5 in a row! I love these albums! However, I do not understand the added value of this publication. Among other things, the records were included in the Super-Deluxe releases. There is nothing more and you do not need more. As much as I love the albums: I will not invest in colored vinyl. I am out…

  19. Simonf says:

Jeez… haven’t these albums been milked to death enough already?!

    • Ben Williams says:

Isn’t that why we visit SDE, to hear of news of albums we have already bought in new and exciting formats?

I like the slipcase design, very nice colour.

    • Frito Bandito says:

Apparently not yet. At least one poster here is in so there is more milk to extract.

When they have nothing left to offer but changing colors on an LP, you know it’s getting close to the end.

I haven’t flipped over an LP for more than 40 years and I am not going back. What a pain in the arse that was. Not as bad as cross-talk from 8-tracks but close.

I’m boycotting anything from Rhino no matter what they offer up. They have terrible customer service and don’t follow through on their promises to replace defective product. THEY DON’T GIVE A RAT’S ARSE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. Join me in boycotting everything Rhino releases. The only way to stop these greedy bastards is to hit them in the pocketbook. That is the only language they understand. Comprende?
