Do not forget “Schmilco”, latest Wilco album and “The Skeleton Tree” from Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.

Speaking of that second one if all lp is like the first single, Jesus Alone, we got one of the records of the year for sure. Go ahead and watch the clip or listen the song, simply A-M-A-Z-I-N-G…

    Paul,

Sorry to hijack the posting but have you heard about The new Human League CD
Anthology – A Very British Synthesizer Group. There is a deluxe version which is 2CD, a 3 vinyl version (£72.00!). There were ‘rumours’ that there was going to be a super deluxe version of this 4 cds and a dvd. Have you heard anything? The ones I mentioned above are now showing on Amazon for a release date of 18 November 2016

  6. Sammy says:

Yes, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds needs to be mentioned here.
I feel that their new album “Skeleton Tree” is actually the first album since David Bowie’s “Blackstar” that will be competiting for the best albums of this year. “Blackstar” will be #1 no matter what.
As there’s only a handful of true, classic-albums anyways released nowadays.

A box set gathering together Madlib’s series of Medicine Show CDs is out on Friday. 13 CDs in a cardboard slip case. Looks very nice:

Anyone know why the Prince vinyl reissue of Around The World.. is delayed yet again? That was meant to come out this week then suddenly got pushed back!

    • noyoucmon says:

My local shop has new copies in stock of Around the World in a Day, and Parade as well. It wasn’t delayed.

      • Paul Sinclair says:

Around the World is definitely delayed in the UK. Parade is released tomorrow finally in the UK too. Just got my shipping notice.

  9. Neil says:

That deluxe version of The Human League is now on amazon and they are asking £72.78 for it which comes as no surprise with their ministry of silly pricing agenda.
